Kaidisen Roofing Systems is a direct replacement
for the traditional Bermuda limestone slate that has been used in
Bermuda since 1640. Kaidisen has been able to enhance the quality
of an already proven roofing system by making it lighter and stronger.
Although the installation process is the same, there is an added
feature, a fastener (PVC clip/ screw with a PVC washer) attaching
the top portion of the slate to the substrate. This has allowed
for a increased uplift threshold over the traditional Bermuda slate
roof.

Typically roofs that currently exist in hurricane prone regions
suffer consistently from wind lift, leading edge damage, poor roof
quality and construction. With roofs failing to sustain winds even
in a “Category 2 Hurricane”, this not only poses a risk
to your property as well as other properties, but adds to the rising
insurance costs
The Kaidisen Roofing System consist of Kaidisen™ Roof Tiles, Tile Fastners, Mortar, Mortar
Additive, Tile Base Coat and an Elastomeric Coating.
Kaidisen™ Roof Tiles
are actually Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC). AAC is a dynamic
concrete product consisting of a mixture of:
- Portland Cement
- Quicklime
- Sand
- Aluminum powder
- Water
The highly complex chemical manufacturing process
results in a concrete matrix that is ideally suited for use in the
construction industry. Kaidisen™ Fasteners
are a unique design made of PVC, specifically created to secure
the roof tiles to the roofing structure. The fastener is crucial
to the stability and ultimate performance of the Kaidisen Roofing
Systems.
